The Pit Boss 440D2 features a dial-in digital control with LED read-out for precise temperature management, allowing for a cooking temperature range of 180° to 500°F. It also includes a standard flame broiler with a simple slide-plate for direct and indirect flame grillingsteel, as well as a stainless steel bottle opener for added convenience.

This pellet grill operates on 100% all natural hardwood pellets, providing a BTU value of 40,000 and convection cooking with an air flow system. The 200 watt auto igniter and vent holes on the back of the barrel ensure easy ignition and proper exhaust.

The grill is powered by a 120 volt, 50/60 hz, 3.1 amp, 3 prong power source and offers a total cooking area of 465 square inches. The cooking grid construction consists of porcelain coated steel, with 341 square inches on the main level and an additional 124 square inches on the upper rack. The grill can accommodate up to 20 4-inch burgers.

Pit Boss lump charcoal is crafted from 100% natural, premium oak and mesquite hardwood with no artificial flavors, spray scents, glues, or chemicals added. The Pit Boss 440D2 itself is constructed from heavy-duty steel and features two large metal wheels for easy transportation. It boasts a mahogany finish, high temperature powder coat finish, hopper lid side shelf, stainless steel thermometer, and a solid bottom shelf for added storage space.
